Gurukumo provides economical LMS subscription packages that meets your needs. You need to determine the learner turnaround and their course content consumption demand to choose the right package. If the resources provided (bandwidth, storage and upload capacity) are not sufficient for the regular operations, you might consider a higher capacity package or pay for the additional usage of resources.

Note:
1. Sub-users like content builders, course provider administrators and assistant administrators, faculty, graders or assistant faculty, etc. are not considered as active learners.
2. The maximum number of learners means all learners in the course provider domain irrespective of whether they take courses or not.

LMS on the Cloud can cater to low resource usage customers as well as high capacity and demand users of all sizes due to the cloud infrastructure. Users can pay for use as per their need and consumption. Hence, our packages are simply based on learner demand and bandwidth/resource utilization.
Based on our research, the resources provided (bandwidth, storage and upload capacity) should be sufficient for the regular operations for the traffic expected in a particular package subscription. Users exceeding the available resources can choose to pay for additional use or move to higher capacity package. Listed below are some of the frequently asked questions that can be helpful information.

Q: Which plan is right for me?

A: Gurukumo charges are based on the consumption. So if you are going to have less than 5 learners, then you can use the 'STARTER' package absolutely free. However, you will get only 500MB of resources per month (Storage + Upload + Download). If you exceed the capacity, then standard nominal resource charges of 0.45cents/GB per month will apply. In the STARTER package, if you exceed the number of learners by 5, you will be required to switch to a subscription package depending on the capacity you want. You can change the subscription at any time. All customers will have to pay the applicable sales tax determined by the local rules applicable to the resident.

Q: How does the 30-day free trial work?

A: The first 30 days (or whatever is the promotional offer) LMS on the Cloud subscription is absolutely free. You won't be billed if you unsubscribe to your LMS prior to the 30 day free trial if you do not intend to keep the subscription.

Q: What if I forget to cancel my free trial?

A: If you forget to cancel your free trial, or if you're not fully satisfied within 60 days of launching your Gurukumo Network, drop us a line and we'll give you a full refund.

Q: Will a learner be counted in the maximum number of users even when the courses taken are complete?

A: If a learner is added to your LMS subscription, then the learner is counted as one of the users even when the user completed the program. This is because the user can still be a part of the program alumni and continue the contributions to the course provider community writing blogs and participating in discussion forums. It is up to the course provider to remove the learner from the LMS.

Q: Can I remove a Learner from my network after the completion of the program?

A: Yes, you can remove the learner from your network after the completion of the program. The learner will be available in Gurukumo Network. However, you will lose out on the opportunity to have the learner right in the alumni social network that you can create inside your LMS.

Q: Are there limits on the maximum number of courses or number of users per course?

A: Gurukumo does not put any limits on the number of courses or number of users per course. These are depending on the packages that we offer. A user can subscribe to an LMS based on the available packages only and any changes to the future will be dependent on the packages offered. Once a user is offered a package, there will not be any changes to the terms of service unless they are notified to the users. Gurukumo reserves the right to change the terms of service or the pricing in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Q: What payment methods do you support?

A: We accept credit cards of all major networks -VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS. In case of non-US customers, customers will have to bear the local taxes as well. We offer a safe and secure environment for you to have the best experience. Monthly subscription charges will be automatically billed on your credit or debit card provided.

Q: Can I change subscription plans after I launch my Gurukumo Network?

A: Yes, you can change your subscription plans at any time. All subscription validity rules will apply from the time you initiate subscription changes.

Q: What is the validity of the package?

A: Any package has a subscription term of 1 month. The subscribr has to pay monthly. If the payment is not done, the subscription lapses and the user cannot access the LMS account. Automatic payment via credit card happens at the beginning of the month. The credit card associated with the account is charged automatically.

Q: What happens if I fail to renew my subscription?

A: Gurukumo user account is life-long and free. If you fail to renew your subscription, you will not have access to your LMS contents. However, you will be able to login to Gurukumo and be a normal user, see you buddy list and communicate with your buddies, update your status. This is applicable to a Course Provider failing to renew subscription or a Learner completing the Course Program with a Course Provider.

Q: I failed to renew my subscription or canceled my service. Will I be able to see my content if I start my subscription again?

A: For a period of 1 year from the date you end your subscription, you will be able to see the old content when you renew. If you renew the service after 1 year, you will not be able to access your old data as system will recognize that this is an inactive user content and permanently delete it. 

Q: Are there any limits on the maximum number of sub-users?

A: Gurukumo does not put any limits on the number sub-users like course provider administrators or assistants, content builders, program administrators or account managers, instructors or faculty or their assistants, etc. Again, these are depending on the packages that we offer. A user can subscribe to an LMS based on the available packages only and any changes to the future will be dependent on the packages offered. Once a user is offered a package, there will not be any changes to the terms of service unless they are notified to the users. Gurukumo reserves the right to change the terms of service or the pricing in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Q: Will I get a refund if I close the subscription in the middle of the month?

A: A subscription is a flat monthly fee. If the user has created a subscription, there will be no refund offered for the month. In case of any technical issues, please contact the customer support and we will be more than willing to help. However, if you are in the first 3 months of subscription and dissatisfied with the product, we will refund you the last month subscription amount.

For example, you started your subscription on 10th Nov, 2011. If you do not like the product and choose to cancel the subscription before 9th Feb, 2012, you will be refunded the subscription charged on your bill for the period of 10th Jan 2012 to 9th Feb 2012, billed to your credit card on the 10th Jan 2012.

Q: Does Gurukumo offer support services for managing LMS on the Cloud?

A: Gurukumo offers support services to maintain the customers' LMS on the Cloud account. After the agreement for the support service is signed, the customer can create a sub-user with Content Builder or Account Manager Privileges whichever is required and associate the assigned Gurukumo Consultant to provide the regular services.
